
What Emergency Dry-In Actually Covers
Emergency dry-in is a temporary measure, not a permanent repair. We cover the failure zone with a compatible membrane lap or a properly ballasted tarp assembly — fastened to the roof field with penetrations that do not go through the building interior, and weighted at perimeter edges to resist the sustained straight-line winds that follow Oklahoma storm systems. The temporary installation is photographed in detail, and the failure mode is documented in writing before we leave the building weathertight.
The permanent repair scope comes separately. Once the storm system has cleared and the building is stabilized, we return to pull cores if insulation saturation is suspected, document the full extent of the damage, and produce a fixed-price scope for the permanent repair. The emergency dry-in invoice and the permanent repair scope are two separate documents. Your approval of the emergency work does not obligate you to use us for the permanent scope.
